Sam Adams has started to emerge as one of the most popular artists in the college music scene, and it looks like he has no plans of slowing down. This track is off his latest album, Boston's Boy, which was released July 13, 2010. It features Curren$y, a New Orleans rapper who has recorded songs through labels such as Cash Money Records, Lil' Wayne's Young Money Entertainment, and most recently Def Jam Records. Maybe the Whiz is starting to become a mainstream artist.
For me, both the laid back beat and the smooth lyrics make this a song I want to have in my iTunes library. In my opinion, it's one of the chillest raps I've ever heard.

I've been a big fan of The White Panda, a two man mashup team, for a while now. They've been pounding out party mashups for nearly a year now and have grown their fan base considerably. 'I Wish I Broke Your Heart' is one of their newest mashups and it is sick (especially the beginning). What exactly is a mashup some of you might be asking? It is a song made completely from other songs. This one is a combo of Taio Cruz's 'Break Your Heart' vs Skee-Lo's 'I Wish.'
DJ Griffi and Procrast are the two geniuses behind The White Panda. Together they released their sophomore mixtape, Rematch, earlier this summer. Make sure to check the whole mixtape out because it has a ton of great tracks. I recently learned that these two will open for Mike Posner & Chiddy Bang this fall, which should help bring these talented DJ's into the limelight. You'll be hearing a lot more of these two in the coming year guaranteed. We have also featured some of their other hits on our other site, College Playlists, and have received a lot of positive feedback.
Since they are mashup artists, The White Panda allows you to download their music for free. You can download this song here and others from their website, TheWhitePanda.com.
