Mac Miller – Donald Trump

Mac Miller is blowing up the game right now. Best Day Ever is almost exactly a month away (and that might just be the best day ever, too clever Mac). March 11, just in time for the greenest nationally recognized holiday. It already feels like a long wait considering best day ever was originally slotted for 2010, but it's understandable with the kid on a nationwide tour. I'm still stuck on KIDS and The High Life anyway. Sour Hour I'm not so sure. But spending all his time in a tour van doesn't mean the homie Mac doesn't have anything for us: welcome to the first official leak off Best Day Ever, "Donald Trump". This career's got nowhere to go but up. Just like the tower.

The New “Forgot About Dre”

I've been waiting for a repeat of this collab since the days of The Chronic. I've always regarded Eminem as one of the greatest rappers of all time (he's a king in freestyle), and of course Dre has kept relevant since N.W.A. Dr. Dre's brand new track off the upcoming album Detox, "I Need A Doctor", kills it. Dre and Eminem rap about each other, telling the story of one of hip hop's longest running student-mentor relationships. It's beautiful, really. Skylar Grey's chorus even holds it together pretty well. If "Love The Way You Lie" can get radio play for as long as it has, this track is sure to blow it off the air. Releases on iTunes today for those of you who'd rather buy songs than check the blogs.

Girl Talk – Every Day

It's not every day I hear something incredible from Girl Talk. Just by the pure number of mixes he puts out, only some of them are bound to be instant hooks, like this one. The track features Gucci Mane (if that wasn't immediately obvious), The Beatles, UGK, Jay-Z, Rich Boy, Fine Young Cannibals, Modern English, and Lil Wil. I think the best way to hear it is on Mashup Breakdown, a site that literally maps out all the samples. By far the most upbeat Gucci I've ever heard.

Kanye West & Jay-Z – H.A.M.

A new weekend anthem from the minds of Kanye, Jay-Z, and Busta Rhymes. You won't be blasting this at your next kegger, but it sure as hell gets you in the right mindset on friday night (or thursday night, wednesday night...). Buster is actually just on the remix, but since the remix's flow was dirtier, thats the one that goes up. From the looks of it, Kanye is never gonna take a break, Jay-Z will make appearances on virtually any track he wants, and Busta Rhymes is never gonna retire. But I mean, we like it that way.

Travis Barker Does It Big

We've heard a few Travis Barker/rap artist collabs before, but none like this. Barker produces the majority of the beat, once again successfully combining rock, rap, and some of the most intense drumming out there. This is his first single from the upcoming "Give The Drummer Some", due to arrive March 15th this year. Travis's rap collabs don't end here. He is confirmed on Lil' Wayne's "I Am Music II" tour with Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross. The track features Lil' Wayne, Swizz Beatz, Game, and Rick Ross.

Wiz Khalifa – Exit Row

Now that the Wiz Khalifa banner is making appearances at events like the AFC Championship and Cochella, he has solidly placed himself in the realm of mainstream. This is one of the best Wiz tracks I've heard in a while. Catchy like Lupe Fiasco's "The Show Goes On", and one of the only tracks in existence where he doesn't mention he's "smoking good" (nevermind). Pulls it off perfectly. Taylor Gang or Die.

Deadmau5 ft. Neon Hitch – I Can’t Behave Myself

deadmau5Deadmau5 is one of the hottest techno artists on the street these days, and that is no surprise to me. He continues to come out with straight hits like strobe and 4 x 4 = 12. This brand new Deadmau5 is no exception. Definitely a little chiller than some of his newer stuff, but I love it. Hopefully, I'll get to see Deadmau5 this spring at Ultra in Miami. Can't wait!

Das Racist – You Oughta Know

At the first listen, this isn't our usual agenda. Sure Das Racist is rap, but none like you've heard before. Das Racist has been picking up steam for a while now, and while they're still relatively underground, tracks like this will drop their name faster than Snooki on New Year's. It's got the sampling, it's got the lyrical wit, and it's bound to piss someone off. That's exactly what they're going for. Check out their debut mixtape "Shut Up, Dude" too. Listen in, zone out, or try and keep up with what the hell they're saying.
